What is Forensics?

Forensics is a performance based extra-curricular speech and drama team that competes against other schools throughout the state. While forensics is a competitive activity, the goal is to improve the communication skills, confidence and performance skills
of all students.
WHO IS FORENSICS FOR?
Forensics is for hard-working, focused, self-motivated students who are driven to be successful and always looking to improve themselves. It fits well with other clubs, activities, and sports since you set your own practice schedule.

WHY DO FORENSICS?
Experience in forensics is a great addition to college and scholarship applications. Forensics can help seasoned performers get better or can help those scared of public speaking overcome their fear. Forensics will help build your confidence as a speaker, a performer and a student. Forensics is a great way to make friends and create lasting memories!

WHAT ARE THE TEAM EXPECTATIONS?
  • Students participating in forensics are expected to practice weekly. Practice can be with a coach, a team member, or alone. Group coaching sessions will take place after school and individual coaching sessions will be held after school and in the evening.

  • Students and coaches are expected to respect themselves and each other in practices, at tournaments and while traveling.
